The short OEM bolts will strip the threads if tightened just a couple times. Mitsubishi tapped the holes much farther than the bolts they installed.
This bolt kit utilizes almost double of the available threads to prevent strip outs.
To ensure cleanliness of the part, wipe down with acetone after installation to remove any dirt or grease.
