I do not have sound clips of this exhaust yet but I have no doubt that it will sound good with a moderate tone. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we can figure out a different route to go.

If you're looking to stay quiet but utilize the performance benefit of going 3", this is the catback exhaust system for your GTI.

The exhaust utilizes 3" stainless steel tubing with dual 3.5" tips at the rear.

Features twin oval mufflers in the rear, a muffler by the gas tank, and a resonator in the factory location.

These all bolt to the factory slip joint connection, there is the possibility for variation of other manufacturers downpipe. Therefore, there is the possibility of length needed to be added or trimming needed to be done to fit correctly with the 3" connection joint

If anything, please add what downpipe you are using in the order notes.
